I hate to sound melodramatic but we have been through on of the worst times in our lives with our move out of Hampton Roads. It was a nightmare from beginning till our final buyout on our property by a relocation company. The only beacon and angel was Jan McPheter. She went above and beyond the call of duty to get us the buyout when there were no buyers in the market.
She handled contractors and dealing with inspectors and the outrageous demands of the relocation company. I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for referring Jan McPheter. I don’t believe in luck so I consider myself blessed that I ran into you at Joann’s and things just stated rolling from there~! I had put off buying because I dreaded the whole pain with the realtor, the Mortgage Company, etc. From the first day, Jan was wonderful~! She was professional, accommodating, patient, informative…all the things that will make me refer her over and over again. She never made me feel stupid and was always willing to “see that place one more time”. Whenever I called she was timely with the response and made sure she had the right answer the first time. In short, the best realtor I’ve dealt with…ever. Michele McDaniel was also extremely helpful. In the past, the mortgage process was always very a painful and seemed to be full of hurdles and pot holes. With Michele, I felt secure and very well taken care of. I wanted to take a moment from my hectic schedule to remind you what a gem you have in Jan McPheter! I met Jan as the duty agent at Burnham Woods. She impressed me that she was punctual, knowledgeable of the property and extremely courteous. I advised her my townhouse was listed but she asked to keep her in mind for the future. Frankly, I lost her card, but after my contract expired, Jan gave me a call. I was on vacation but told her I would keep her in mind. I later called Jan and she presented a realistic approach. Jan projected a sale in 6 to 8 weeks, well we closed in the 9th week! How perfect was that! I feel so lucky to have bonded with someone like Jan.
