Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, I learned the values of family, friends and faith. As the youngest girl of seven siblings, I enjoyed all kinds of sports and outdoor activities…we were big St. Louis Cardinal Fans. After graduating from high school, I worked as an Administrator for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company. My career there included work on several fighter aircraft programs including the F-15, F/A-18, AV-8B and the Navy’s stealth aircraft program, which is where I met my husband Gordon. Gordon is a retired Navy Captain and is now working as a defense contractor here in Hampton Roads.
